Task
The idea is simple: to create a service that helps immigrants from Central Asia in Russia with financial, legal, and everyday matters.
To begin with, we have focused on money transfers from Russia to Uzbekistan.
Then we added a referral program and the purchase of airline tickets.
  • Participating in product research and strategic meetings with management;

Problems
  • Complex interface;
  • Not an obvious scenario for sending and receiving a money transfer;
  • It is not clear where to get the transfer;
  • Big commissions.
Solution
  • Simple and clear flow of sending transfers;
  • SMS to the recipient of the transfer with a map of the points of the partners;
  • Native language interface with recognizable national patterns;
  • Referral program with the opportunity to make a profitable transfer.

I researched competitors, similar products in the banking market, and payment service applications.

Personas
I created 3 personas based on the Central Asian main competitors.

User Jorney Map
  • Because user stories were used in the development, a user journey map was created on the basis of them.
  • I wrote the user story, journey map, and acceptance criteria for all scenarios. And presented the user’s journey to the product owner.

Wireframes
Based on the user flow, I designed the wireframes to approve app functionality.

Concepts
I created two concepts of corporate style. Both variants are based on recognizable Uzbek patterns. We chose the first concept.

Prototype
I designed prototypes for iOS and Android versions.

  • I presented the prototype to the team and client.
  • I also created a product presentation. A prototype and presentation have been used for presentations to investors.

Based on the coordinated wireframes, I created the final interfaces for development.

Two scenario:
  • Transfer with receipt in the bank;
  • Transfer to bank card by card number or phone number.

Interview with client representatives and competitive research
I conducted an interview with the client, which revealed the purpose, the value of the product, and its positioning. We brainstormed, made up the USP, and came up with a product name.
